I used to never feel this way. Like I said I was in a long ass relationship in another country. Saw some extended family a few weeks ago and my 16 year old relatives are tall as fuck. Taller than me. I go to a gym in USA now and these zoomers are shredded and tall. Even the girls are taller now. Even Asians and Mexicans. What the fuck is in the food now? Brazilian here. 6 foot tall, even though statiscally is considered above average, is not really tall for a young/middle aged man. It's just average. The older people keep the nation average down, not to mention the indigenous genes. You would be tall at the northern states though. There the people have lots of amerindian blood so the average for men is probably 5'7'' or less. But you must like mestizas. I'm 5'7'' in São Paulo though (where 6 is probably the average for men) and haven't had a problem. So perhaps you should just focus more in places where height is not a thing as it seems to be in america.
Chiapas and Guatemala locals are reportedly very short due to their native genes. The highlanders can be very hostile, though. The lowland tropical cities of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec are pretty fun, though often a wet muddy mess.
