Serious question.
I have been researching leaving the US for South America.
I don't understand the problems with it or Chile.
Can someone help me out with some overall about Argentina?

Maybe try going there on vacation and finding out????
Absolutely.
Already have 3 trips budgeted for this year.
Advanced research is a better thing??
The answer is: It's highly fucking corrupt like every other SA place. Can't believe this needs spelling out.
Unless you can keep a US Salary style job you'll be buttfucked hard by bribes, 'fines', and fee's that will constantly pop up. Sure it's a nothing burger on a vacation budget or in areas for keeping the safe tourist image, but living there is another story.
Argentina is what happens when a class of parasites run the government and see you as a sheep to be sheared for profit. Any resistance is crushed by manipulation of administrative procedures by bureaucrats.
It's essentially what the USA would look like on a more stable downward trajectory where the federal/state/local government was replaced by a centralized unitary state.
Is this forum completely full of brain dead larpers? Every thread is some version of "I'm planning on leaving the west for x country" and you've never even been!
I hate this place so much now, at least the crypto chuds were fun, 5* hotels and excessive restaurant bills, now all we have are delusional half wits who have failed so badly they can only think about emigrating to the third world to LARP at being successful. Urgh
It's full of people who want to day dream. Most who want to leave the US have lived their entire lives in a 50mi radius of their parents house OR only hopped megacity to megacity not really exploring much.
Anyone who's going to move would have done ample research on the topic and a stupid question of "y SA have bad wrap?????" would be answered within the most basic levels of research. It's just the "Oh yeah I will totally be a gigachad next year when I move to X, the true problem is how shit this place is!" not realizing after a few months they will fall back into their old habits and be back to where they were.
yea these larps are always funny, argentina is so corrupt they dont even price their housing in pess anymore., you still have to pay 200-300k + in USD for a normal apartment/house there. so what if a beer is 2$
>babbys first experience with unstable local currencies
You'll be surprised in how many places big ticket items will be sold in USD despite the laws mandating local currency.
Newfags shit on the coomers and the like because they are all Reddit tourists and as a result all the interesting non troll threads got purged. Now it’s just the troll coomer bait and dumb posts like OP, people genuinely thought this board was le epic real travellors and coomers didn’t exist kek. They reap what they sow, I post on other forums mostly now
Any recommendations?
It is full of LARPers but it is also full of delusional troons (you) that think leaving the house is an impossibility.
I've travelled to over 50 countries, I just don't understand how this place has changed so much
It hasn't, people just want to posture online. If anything the anons complaining about the board going to shit dilute all the threads with their diseased hooker spams and bump the troll posts onto the top of the catalog
be the change you want to sdee, 50 is small-time btw
What bad rap? They're considered two of the safest countries in South America and are highly regarded as tourist destinations in no small part thanks to Patagonia.
