Unless you can keep a US Salary style job you'll be buttfricked hard by bribes, 'fines', and fee's that will constantly pop up. Sure it's a nothing burger on a vacation budget or in areas for keeping the safe tourist image, but living there is another story.
Argentina is what happens when a class of parasites run the government and see you as a sheep to be sheared for profit. Any resistance is crushed by manipulation of administrative procedures by bureaucrats.
It's essentially what the USA would look like on a more stable downward trajectory where the federal/state/local government was replaced by a centralized unitary state.

It's full of people who want to day dream. Most who want to leave the US have lived their entire lives in a 50mi radius of their parents house OR only hopped megacity to megacity not really exploring much.
