Why is there a sitgma against nice relaxing places as boring?

Why is there a sitgma against nice relaxing places as boring? It's like people that make travelling their identity also deliberately want drama, it's like they're so sheltered they deliberately seek danger for some reason.

Just because some people dont enjoy staying at the same beach for 2 weeks doesnt mean they seek "danger" or "drama"

I judged people for it when I was 20, now I'm 30 and exhausted by life so after a few weeks of travelling about a week at a nice beach before I go home is fricking great.

One of the best vacations was renting out a beach house in Okinawa for a week to eat drink and snorkel myself stupid

    >"stigma" against going to nice places
No such thing exists, unless you're talking about SighSee where low value males/poor incels only visit shitholes because they can afford to go anywhere nice and no one wants to deal with them

Dont tell me you take advice from internet losers seriously... Are you from leddit or something??

The solution is to not give a frick about what other people think. If you genuinely like it, that's good enough.

I wasn't even aware there was a "stigma" on those places. I suggest not wasting energy on shit like this and live your life.

the rule of SighSee is if you like anything, the general consensus will be that it is terrible and you are gay for liking it

Nice relaxing places tend to be expensive. Id love for a place with saunas, reasonable priced bars, and ease of transportation to do day trips for things nearby.

There's no stigma. It depends on your personality. Some people need excitement and adventure. Some people just want to relax.

I think the problem with that would be the same as anything else, if you are pretending you're a well cultured RealTraveler™ for lounging around at a pacific island villa, then people will find you annoying. No one has a problem with you relaxing.

If you want absolutely lovely calm places, there's generally a few quite nearby.

I wouldn't say travel junkies are looking for drama/danger, but they definitely tend to want exotic.

Unfathomably based. When I go on holiday I want to chill, get drunk, eat good food and enjoy nature. No big city bullshit or risky areas you're going to get mugged by locals.

Suggestions for places that fit this feel?

Everywhere that is developed, not a city and not an agriculture wasteland.
Spa's are all over the alps, take your pick.
What kind of nature do you enjoy? What does chill mean to you?

I travel for nature and cities, both types of trips are high intensity. Not into humidity which is the primary thing these relaxing places have. When I want relaxation I stay home, that's where friends are, costs are low and the beach is 5 min walk.

Any small hilly town less than 2 hours 25 minutes from wherever you live will provide at least one nice hotel with a quiet area to “relax”. Going abroad to relax is moronic.

I've never heard anyone say this in fact the relaxing places seem to be more popular vacation choices
