Trying to plan a trip to either Cincinnati Ohio, Grand Rapids Michigan, or Richmond Virginia. Which of these cities has the best food? I love wings, bbq, and especially Asian goodies like ramen, bulgogi, and Chinese fast food. Which of these as well would you say are the best city overall taking everything about them into account?
Also wondering if any of these stand out as friendly or unfriendly. I am in Colorado and the people are like automatons that don’t interact.
Colorado is the most overrated state in the union. If you take away the outdoors stuff it fucking sucks and it's full of shitty people with mental health problems and drug addiction
>going to Ohio for food
huh?
Just go to California or New York
>t. ohio resident
I don’t like places that big and the people are crazy in the good food areas
>I want to travel for food
>no I don’t like the good food places the people are too crazy
How can you enjoy the food when you are elbow to elbow with nutjobs?
You’re a pussy if you’re too afraid of going to New York or LA.
It isn’t fear. It isn’t disgust and discomfort.
It is* disgust and discomfort.
Source?
I don’t have a source because I’m a dumbass.
God fucking damnit I spent too much in a strip club brothel last night but it was legit and more exciting than your entire life and couldn't sleep due to acid reflux, I began salivating like a wild dog. Now, at least breakbast buffet starts at 5AM.
Some asian buffets can be quite delectable they have such funny interesting savory items and usually have dessert at breakfast too. Oh boy oh boy I wonder what this hotel has and if it sucks I'll just go back to my preferred one!
Yeah buffalo wings are friendly I guess and colorado is for gays. What the hell, kid.
I don’t get it.
By posting that image you made this a sexpat chad thread. Damn these eggs are Hispaniceeeeyy. I found some chocolate chip pastries. Of course the delacacies of this matter would escape you. You must be a woman.
Huh?
Go find your chicken wings, you low sentience non-sapient lifeform. You are one step above an amoeba to me. And just shut the..
Blah blah blah. Silly stupid goose
I'd punch your face in
You wouldn’t do shit. Which of these cities is best?
What was the joke?
>Trying to plan a trip
>either Cincinnati Ohio, Grand Rapids Michigan, or Richmond Virginia.
Grand Rapids is a beer city, so good bar food. Brewery Vivant and the Winchester stand out. Really the only things to do tourist wise are the John Ball zoo, GR Public Museum, and Gerald Ford Library though
I don’t drink (raging alcoholic that doesn’t drink now) so I lose that huge advantage of brewery capital. I would still love to eat there though. Is it more of a place to live than visit?
Cincinnati, Ohio of course. you have Cincinnati style chili, which isn't really chili but a Mediterranean Hispaniced meat sauce. The chain restaurants are good but Camp Washington is what people think of Cincinnati Chili.

Then, of course you have Findlay Market in the artsy, recently gentrified Over-the-Rhine area. It's quite the place to see and though it's still dangerous, nothing happens at the market and not before night outside of the market.

Jungle Jim's international market 15mi North of downtown is an excellent destination. It can only be described best in person or pictures.

Jungle Jim’s looks awesome in photos
yes it's a pretty cool experience. I dunno what kind of samples they usually have because I was too autistic to take samples until crypto dumped
>travel for food
i go to the grocery store too, retard. it's not travelling.
Yes it is. Go seethe elsewhere.
Richmond, its close enough to DC to get some quality restaurants.
richmond has a pretty nice beer scene but you might be better served going to annandale in DC for korean food or further south to the carolinas for piedmont or mustard sauces
>I travel for food
You are jealous that I have something I actually enjoy, loser.
>you're jealous i eat food
that's some nuclear level cope
I didn’t say that. I said they were jealous that I enjoy things instead of being a lonely and cynical little blob of a man
What do YOU like, anon? Tell us about your big-brain/big-boy hobbies.

Best countries for exotic meat?
Is the skyline chili shit good? The 5 way? I can't tell if it looks amazing or awful
I love it. Hated it as a kid, crave it as an adult. The cheese they offer is also super finely shredded and soft and makes the meal insane. It isn’t really a flavor that can be described that will give you a good idea. It needs to be tried. I highly recommend it. If you are ever in Cincinnati get Graeters ice cream as well. Black raspberry chip is the single best ice cream on the planet
Graeters* black raspberry chip is the best ice cream on the planet
Wow, you like ice cream too? You are just like Joe Biden, very cool
The main reason to go to Richmond is Civil War history
That sounds like trash.
I'm likely taking the bait but I was impressed by the food near traverse city. The Cook's House apparently has a Michelin chef.
I’m OP and not baiting. I listened to all the Colorado hype and got rekt. This state sucks dick compared to Kentucky near Louisville. We for some reason almost never went to Cincinnati and it seems like a bigger Louisville with better architecture. Louisville
Springs and Denver
You listed to a bunch of stoner gays OP who moved there because dude weed.
A druggie made bad decisions? Shocking
I didn’t come out here for weed, retard.
Richmond has really been gentrified a lot lately. The boundary between ghetto crime and great food was very thin. Now they've pushed all the hoodlums out further and grown a lot. Lots of hipsters, art fags and shit but decent food of all cultures.
Weird and random list anon, can I ask how you came up with those three places out of everything. I could see it being economically.
Richmond might actually win for food, good southern cuisine and wings, but it easily the shittiest of the three. I am dead serious when I say this, there are homeless people everywhere, the river near Richmond looks putrid and it really just isn't a nice place.
Cincy is pretty average. In terms of topography, which is a weird thing to note, I like the hillness of the city, but much of downtown is dead and I actually prefer the Kentucky side in Covington. You will find excellent beer in the area, but overall pretty average place. Everyone is different but I also personally can't stand skyline.
Maybe it was the fact that I scored some good weed there from an actually friendly blackie that I met in my only night on the town (Yeah that could have been dangerous.) but Grand Rapids has my vote. Food is not amazing but city has a lot of heart, and feels like it is brimming with potential. It is a college town, although I forget which one, and the food was surprisingly good at the places I went to. Best place for beer of the three as well. Still not amazing, which is why I think your list is a little weird, but go to Grand Rapids. The central market which is inside a mall in the city is also excellent, especially for coffee.
>travel for food
>USA
USA has better food per capita than Europe. Even our pizza game is better than Italy's, seethe more Europoor
