Gonna be flying Premium Economy to Asia, but it's sorta hard for me to sleep sitting up. I have 0.25mg of Xanax, would taking 1 help me sleep? Just want this shit to be over as fast as possible.

we ate dinner, lights were dimmed for the overnight journey
some guy was waiting for the toilet, leaning on the wall, then slumped and fell over. peed himself.
took the flight attendants 2mins to come over to the man that was lying down in the aisle.
they just put him in a chair and then we continued the flight
i suspect he just took his sleeping pill early but had to pee after dinner and someone was taking forever in the toilet.
I took a whole Xanax bar from a friend on superbowl sunday once and woke up on the couch in the same position nearly 24 hours later with no memory of what happened during that time.
I hope you got a window seat if you want to pass out. Slumping onto your seatmate is rude AF.
I just flew 15 hours LAX -> MNL yesterday. In-flight entertainment system was down. Started the flight with 4 carry-on shot bottles and a glass of wine, it hit the spot. My seatmate was an American who was headed to the Philippines to retire permanently, and another American was in the aisle seat, so we talked for about half the flight. It was cool to learn about the actual experience of living in the Philippines as an American. He had a nice house built for only $30,800 USD. 1500 friends and relatives showed up for his wedding.
Alcohol + interesting conversation passes time on a long flight (or train ride) better than anything else. Personally, drinking 5 or so drinks effectively quells my boredom and impatience for many hours; the sedative effect is just right. I don't dose sedatives, because I hate being extremely tired and NOT being able to fall asleep. Did that once, it's horrible.
Don't use THC edibles, they have a time dilation effect.
Putting a pillow on the seat tray and slumping forward onto it had me catching a couple winks toward the end of the flight. I can't sleep sitting up either.

Don't know about the dose, but I took some Xanax on an Abu Dhabi-Chicago flight last year. Pretty much slept the entire way, give or take a few hours. Wife was livid, kek.
Next time give your wife a Xanax so she shuts her trap.

theres this genius chemistry phd guy on twitter who abuses cocaine and amphet sometimes and abhorrently talks badly about benzos. i trust him, and have also met a doctor who doesn't even prescribe them citing increased risk of dementia, etc..
It'd certainly help but I'd say at least .5 to knock you out if you dont take them regularly. I usually dont feel rested after I take them and feel blah for a day after, so I'd keep that in mind
