Assume St Louis is in F tier due to crime which is fair but it also has way more going on and things to do than most all of the cities in C&D tier
s tier is pretty good everything else is a mess lol who the frick is visiting baltimore
>las Vegas
>Long Beach
>S tier
Lol no
Vegas isn't S-tier because of Vegas itself as much as it's a great base of operations from where you can basically go to a lot of cool hiking trails. Hotels are relatively cheap and have good service, and has most amenities since it's a big city.
This being said this tier list is shit and makes 0 sense.
NYC as S-Tier means literally 0 sense when A-tier has fricking Albuquerque and Pittsburg. Even if we follow your reasoning, SF should be at higher than these two.
OP is simply baiting.
pittsburgh is a shithole I went to college there
>people looked depressed and down trotten
>women are way uglier there
>EVERYONE SMOKES
>it's always cloudy
>urban decay
typical of the rest belt
i understand criticizing the driving downtown video
but to use a driving in the ghetto video - doesn't every major urban center in usa have these areas?
Pittsburgh mostly has ghettos. unless you're right near downtown or in a university/hospital neighborhood they all look this run down and empty
Only Pittsburgh women give birth to real men.
Ngl those women are immaculate
>EVERYONE SMOKES
not seeing a problem here
The charm of Pittsburgh is that it’s a pretty typical rusted out rust belt city with miserable weather and confrontational people and yet it’s somehow fairly normal and not a total dystopia like Philadelphia, New York, or Chicago.
couldn't do worse if you tried honestly. Billings? wtf lmao
Tier lists without a defining metric are completely useless. Whoever creates the list bases it off of emotions alone, thus you end up with morons arguing over intangible and unknowable views.
From my stupendous powers of contextual awareness, I have deduced that OP is comparing the quality of US cities against one another. Otherwise, they would all be in F-tier.
>Albuquerque
>A tier
You've got to be kidding, right? Albuquerque is a dump. Hope you enjoy having your catalytic converter being stolen by a meth head.
Yup. Albuquerque is fricking garbage. Santa Fe might be High B or very low A tier, but only if you have lots of money, like the outdoors, or pretentious artsy shit.
Had a wonderful time in albuquerque when I visited. Nice hike, hot springs nearby, great food, friendly locals. Would much rather visit albuquerque than a metropolis like nyc or chicago
That's why I don't listen to these homosexuals. Outright compulsive liars on this board.
This stinky list is claiming NO and El Paso are A tier too. Pure comedy.
why would anyone visit new haven? unless you're going to uni there it's a shithole, it shouldn't even be on a list of places to consider travelling to
I’d go there for pizza, unironically. Otherwise, yeah, I probably wouldn’t step foot in the town without a Yale acceptance letter.
You mean Pepe's pizza? They have one in NY.
The one in New York sucks dick, and Sally’s is also worth visiting.
>Cushing Brain Lab
>New Haven Style Pizza
>Pez Visitors Center
>Just walking around Yale
>Historical Manuscript Library
>Judges Cave
>Steamed Cheeseburgers
New Haven is the best city in New England to visit aside from Boston at the very least
>Steamed Cheeseburgers
.....hwat?
Yeah, they're real but they're from CT not NY
Denver belongs in S tier. Out of all the libcucked cities it is the least libcucked.
Denver sucks ass, most over rated city by far. I lived there for 7 years, it used to be cool but now it's just Texans, Midwesterners and Californians. It's 80% dudes, everyone drives a subaru, the mountains aren't close they are like 2 hours away with only one highway in that is ALWAYS fricked from the out of state drivers getting into wrecks. Everyone larps like they are outdoorsy. the architecture is boring. It has no soul and is too crowded now. Denver is dead.
Denver is a less shitty Portland or Seattle. It's got all the positives of that hipster vibe with very few of the downsides, the homelessness is drastically less in Denver than anywhere on the west coast. The public transport is solid with the light/commuter rail, the rental prices aren't as ludicrous. Mind you, I'm comparing Denver to the west coast cities, if Boise had better infrastructure i'd like it better than Denver but alas.
oh and the weather. If it werent for the lack of a beach it rivals cali in terms of weather. 300 days of sunshine a year and no humidity. white christmas's with 3" snowflakes and perfectly powdery snowbanks that don't turn to slush and ice, it literally just sublimates from snow to vapor.
Denver sucks. I haven't been to the pnw in years so I can't comment on it. I just remember it being so incredibly green and lush, but traffic was insane.
The rental prices are as ludicrous. The homeless and meth heads and loser stoners every where suck. Yes it does have 300 days a year of sun. The snow usually melts within a few days during the winter. The public transit is not that impressive, you need a car. Nobody rides that shitty train. The airport is 100 miles away. Boring city. Good for sports but all events cost an arm and a leg to see so it's not as fun any more. Absolute sausage fest. The real Denver is long dead. I wouldn't go back if you paid me.
>the homelessness is drastically less in Denver than anywhere on the west coast
When I was in Denver a year ago the homeless situation was completely fricked, can't imagine how much worse west coast shitholes must be
>80% men
Found the coping wizard who got priced out of Denver and couldn’t afford to take his Filipina hooker to Applebees, so he moved to an objectively worse location which will never be named, but apparently has no traffic and is full of architectural marvels.
>Denver sucks ass
The creators of South Park are renovating Casa Bonita though, objectively makes it S tier.
why is tacoma in A tier?
do people really visit tacoma on vacations?
Denvoid is a trash city. Not even beautiful. I don't doubt that thirty plus years ago it probably had a lot of charm and character, but now its the sprawliest consoomeriest city of the west. And that's really saying something. I'd rather live in Salt Lake City, which is a city I also hate but hate less than Denver.
SLC is based. It's like what Denver used to be. I just hope they keep weed illegal and they stay relatively conservative because it's starting to get crowded the same way Denver did
Utah will forever be conservative. Mormons run everything
You can get THC gummies at any smoke shop now in SLC.
They make up 50 percent or less of the population now. They still run things, which keeps the joggers and libshits at bay, but for how much longer.
>They make up 50 percent or less of the population now
The other 50 is runaway Californians and Hispanics
i do not understand why the SHITHOLE known as atlanta is not at the lowest possible rating. the atlanta perimeter is the harmful tumor attached to my state
Georgia Aquarium bro
the entire atlanta perimeter is a yankee transplant infested shithole. it is the south's version of new york city. it has also been overcrowded for the past 20-30 years. people who actually live in georgia (aka not near atlanta) go out of their way to avoid the atlanta perimeter, and will tell you how much they hate it there.
KATL is a damn good airport. Beyond that though, the best part of Atlanta is watching it disappear in my rear view mirror.
the airport is about the only thing positive about it
>colorado has the s tier boulder but the f tier denver
is colorado even worth living in anymore or is it time to migrate? What places are even good anymore?
What exactly is the methodology for this list?
Pretty much; more libtard the better. NYC as S tier? TOPKEK
NYC is the most visited city in the planet and is an absolute blast to visit, what the hell did you do wrong?
Did you spend your entire time there wandering the streets and getting harassed on the subway?
Things to do, topography, ect. People are saying “WTF WHY ALBUQUERQUE AND PITTSBURGH” but the topography in both areas is something that should be experienced at least once
OP is probably just listing how much fun he personally had in each place not how objectively good it is (this is what a lot of people do and is not helpful, for instance maybe he met a hot girl in El Paso which made him have fond memories, but it doesn't make it an A tier destination).
anchorage? or juneau or fairbanks if they count any of them worth mentioning?
Alaska is a shithole
Albuquerque is based. It's probably one of the last cities in the west where most of you would even have a shot at owning a home. The people who complain about it being rough will be bullied in like 90% of other cities too
I kind of like Albuquerque. Things are still reasonably priced.
objective
Pleasantly surprised to see Fargo so high on these lists.
Out of curiosity, what made you place it so high?
Pls don't tell me it's bait.
My objective one was literally just based on the % of blacks
Why would anyone ever travel to Greensboro except for the ACC Tournament? It's a city built by the railroad, so there's no interesting natural beauty to speak of, there are no major tourist attractions, and the downtown area is literally one street. Greensboro is a nice place to raise a family but it's not exactly exciting.
>Greensboro
>B Tier
kek fricking why??? I live half an hour from there and I can't think of anything special about it. The only time it's mentioned by locals is because of the crime (because of you know who), it's decent place for specialized employment (like any other decent sized city), and 'Death Valley' on I-40 which is a pain to drive through. Place is filled with fricking strip clubs. Went to one a few months back with a bro of mine and got a lap dance, so there's that. The beer garden of the Red Oak brewery is pretty good too - stupid expensive though.
Oh yeah, and few other buddies of mine went to one of the Hooters there. One of them nonchalantly pulled out the concealed pistol he was carrying at the table and decided to show us - sick c**t.
this.
>Greensboro is a nice place to raise a family but it's not exactly exciting.
ASSUMING you choose the right neighborhood, because brother, I've been through the slum parts and you better stay strapped.
Methodology: none
>implying USA isn’t in the bottom tier (do not touch) list as a country.
TRV OFFICIAL UPDATED RANKING:
1. (BASED) SEA
2. (GOOD TASTE) ITALY
3. (ABSOLUTE YIKES) USA
why would you start the scale from S and not A, that's moronic
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Academic_grading_in_Japan
I'm putting you in timeout for making Orlando anything higher than F-Tier. It is a blight on the state of Florida
When did SLC become S-tier. For the last 20 years people have been shitting on Utah. Now all of a sudden it's a desired city? It's not even a big city. It's a small ass city with shit air, lgbtq, spics, mormons, and no alcohol.
>mormons
>bad
Years of inbreeding is starting to show. I grew up in a heavily mormonated area and you can just look and tell someone is one.
This. It's no wonder they all look the same.
SLC itself sucks, it's what it's close to that makes it S tier
Tacoma is a shithole dude.
lol tacoma and billings as an A city, gtfo of here with your moronic bate shit
Philadelphia is one of the worst places to live and one of the best places to visit. You can get around easily and there’s a ton of early American history in the area. New York is stupid. There’s nothing there but billboards and stores. You can take a look at the 20th century aesthetic that was sold to people, but that’s it. There’s nothing genuinely remarkable there.
Currently live in Dayton, it's awful devoid of any hope at this point.
Just move to Cinci or Columbus
This is my opinion. There are many like it, but this one is mine
>Indianapolis and Arlington in same tier as Chicago and New Orleans
>San Jose and Grand Rapids above Seattle, Portland, and San Francisco
why
Seattle, Portland, and San Fran are insane asylums run by dirty bums pissing shitting and littering herion needles everywhere. Absolute trash.
Chicongo has a lot going for it but is taken down a notch by the constant out of control Black person antics. Same with New Orleans.
>Rochester
>F
Who the frick made this list? You know what stay out
Somebody more learned than me make one with the criteria being: best places to eat a ton of good food like a fatass with no budget.
Yeah Akron is a shit hole no need to rub it in
Birmingham here, can confirm. Nothing notable here except the white guilt memorials.
why does everyone in this thread hate new york?
i hate new york because yankee transplants from states like it think they are welcome in the south. they are a blight, on par with locusts due to how much they price out the locals
the northern states pay for all the south's shit so you have no room to complain
It’s so kind of yankee states to vote their money to the south.
its easy to have money when the yankee states sell any semblance they have of a soul for money from israeli profit wars
There is nothing genuinely worthwhile there. There’s no interesting history, no unique culture, no inspiring landscape, nothing. It’s just a consumer city. Billboards and shops. That’s all it is.
Arguably the best in American architecture?
S tier
>Orlando
That place is a shithole
What historical cities is worth visiting for a tourist? I would think Philadelphia or Boston, but people have their gripes apparently.
Those two and DC and surrounding areas. Depends what you’re into though. I had a somber time at a mostly abandoned confederate cemetery I ran across in Alabama.
Add Honolulu to S tier
Boulder is just a rich white liberal holier than thou college town. The Springs is better but kind of boring and souless. Denver is a shit hole and not even close to any nature just urban sprawl.
Pittsburgh is a laughable choice, I guarantee you haven't visited. Horrible people, horrible traffic(it's not even populated just completely pants on head moronic traffic design) everyone is fat and ugly and depressed. Downtown is a ghost town. Philadelphia is a much better city to both visit and live in unless your in the most nigged out neighborhoods
Boston is cool, San Fran and LA should be S tier if we're doing just wanting to visit, not live. Phoenix is a souless shit hole in the desert. Hopefully you really like indoor shopping, 4 lane highways, cookie cutter neighborhoods and AC.
Chicago should be higher. Fricking Lincoln Nebraska. My homie is trippin lol.
DC is overrated imo, Philly Boston and New York are good enough for the east coast vibe
Really 90% of American cities are cookie cutter as frick and souless. The only cities worth visiting
>Boston
>New York
>Miami
>LA
>San Francisco
And spend a day at most. Really if you are visiting USA you should be renting a car and driving through the countryside visiting small towns, and our national park/forest system. American cities are simply not worth
I heard San Fran sucks now.
It does, and so does LA. The other anon is a moron.
it's still OK for tourism. At least it is unique and not cookie cutter
Canuck here
want to do a solo trip and everywhere seems insanely expensive. Nashville is pretty cheap (to fly to at least).
how is it? will I have fun alone? would probably go for 3-4 days
If you're gonna go to Nashville, please do your research. There are some cool fricking places to visit like the country music museum but if you wander down the wrong street you will be robbed or killed. You could definitely have fun by yourself but bringing someone else can be even more fun
Why are they all big cities? The best parts of America are the natural areas like National Parks or historic battlefields, etc.
This. If you don't incorporate hiking (or at least driving or boating or something) through natural beauty, you're fricking up. The national parks are the gem of America. Moat of the cities are lackluster
Don't let the subhumans know.
>Orlando S-Tier
Instant disregard, even Miami is B at best. Tampa is underrated tho tbh
He means for people who are interested in theme parks. I hope this helps.
This helps nobody and makes it fricking worse. For everyone. Orlando is a blight
Can I work in the US on a fiance visa? I traveled there last month, and found a girl who wants to marry me and have kids and shit. Coming from the UK, looking at Maine.
Do people actually like traveling to Salt Lake? The night life here is fricking abysmal but I guess there's a lot to do outside during the day like hiking and skiing. I just never saw it as a good tourist city
I had fun in Chattanooga a few weeks ago. U.S. cities kind of suck and they are full of basketball americans that ruin everything.
I prefer going to small towns near some sort of good nature.
Every city I know has become worse from insane liberals. Chicago and madison are at the top of that list.
bro I fricking wish I had visited that many cities in the us, I haven't even been there yet but it's my most coveted destination, saving your tier list for future use
>Milwaukee
>grand Raipds
I don't know what crawled up your anus but I had a good time in both of these
Also frick Orlando
Also kys
>L.A.
>B
Frick off. I literally live here and it sucks.
California's great if you're a homeless drug addicted homosexual dredge to society and want to be with like minded individuals
I'm about to snap and become the second JtR for these annoying smelly fricking Black folk
>New york
>S tier
San Antonio > Austin, Austin is the bigger city with more shit for sure, but San Antonio is more Texas. Austin is just generic liberal city.
Austin is a college town so it makes sense that it naturally leans more towards the progressive side. However, the massive influx of Californians has been ruining most of Texas - Austin specifically. I agree with you on San Antonio being superior, but despite also being home to (an actually more liberal school than UT) Denton is where it’s at. Not big enough to warrant visiting but Denton is now what Austin used to be. That Willy Nelson-esque blend of cowboy and hippie. Austin isn’t even hippie shit it’s just libtard central
How is mijneapolis / st Paul lower than half these shit hole cities
Also two harbors / duluth should be on there
Whoever made this list is a fricking virgin who Googled "big cities" and made a shitty list
Did my hometown of Reno really get B tier??? I'm so honored. Although idk why.
Asheville is A tier at least. How is it not even on the list?
sssssshhhhhhhhh
>separating out Scottsdale, Phoenix, and Tempe
Why? The whole Phoenix area is an abomination anyways
I would have called it a decent golf trip destination before Covid but now the green fees are so out of control it’s not even good for that.
I want to visit bot Newark and North Jersey and Baltimore because of some famous TV shows. How fricked am I?
I asked about visiting Baltimore for a the Wire tour and they called me an idiot. They also said most of the locals are gone.
I went to college in Baltimore it's fine don't be a pussy.
There are like 4 decent neighborhoods
i went to new orleans earlier this year (not for mardi gras). it was great. probably an 8/10 trip for me. i plan on going back in the future. it is a very interesting place. the french quarter was neat, but to get the fullest extent of enjoyment from it, you need to drink alcohol and/or smoke cigars. i wish i had more time there because there was a lot of stuff i didnt get to see. i planned on buying a souvenir there, but the only thing kinda cool that i saw was voodoo stuff. i didnt buy any of it because i dont know anything about it.
the road between montgomery and mobile is by far the dullest stretch of road i have traveled on. it is 3 hours, with maybe 3 exits, and thick endless trees on both sides of the road.
>the road between montgomery and mobile is by far the dullest stretch of road i have traveled on.
Confirmed for never having driven through Texas.
yeah, louisiana as far west as ive been. i dont really care about seeing fields nonstop, but solely seeing thick forested trees that looked the exact same for over 99% of the drive was awful. im surprised more people dont fall asleep during that drive. i live in a really rural area, so im used to seeing a lot of shit that looks generally the same. its just that road in particular was awful
also, the national wwii museum was probably a 1/10. the "museum" is mostly just descriptions on the wall with digital pictures from google included. the movie you can watch there was a buttered up shitfest that was a waste of 40 something minutes. the submarine thing was designed for an elementary school kid to enjoy. it was mostly just old people getting really excited about nothing. you think a museum would actually have shit to display, but ive seen more at significantly smaller museums.
i honestly have no idea why it was one of the highest rated attractions in new orleans. also, its incredibly overpriced to get in.
>Makes tier list of places to visit in the US
>It's all cities
Be ashamed, the places you want to visit in the US are almost entirely not cities, unless there is a specific museum or event you want to see..
Here is my list. For travel only, not for actually living because LA and New Orleans would be near the bottom of that list.
Most American cities are fairly meh to me. Also Honolulu is spelled wrong.
come to baltimore
houston 4 tier
