>take some time until it's economically viable
wtf? plane engines have higher margins than planes. Tell your government to end that zero deficit bullshit and invest in high tech.
were their any details about that new investment initiative for a domestic fighter jet/plane Lula announced last month? like what parts they plan on being domestic made/designed?

that's fine, I only read the Reuters PR statement article and it wasn't very detailed besides the project meeting certain goals. I imagine things are still in the planning phase and are kept secret.
I've wondered about this for a while
Much of the E-2s advantages come from the Pratt Whitneys they use, if we made the engines they would most likely be bad, unreliable and less efficient. The plane would die, sales would vanish. I still think we should make them THOUGH, could be used on other planes at first and then make its way up.
do you have an article or an interview I can read about it? It can be in Portuguese I don't mind. I'm really interested.

It's true that the engines play a big role, but the fuselage and composites are also extremely important in bringing down weight.
Ryanair fricking sucks. Might not crash and kill you but planes are never on time, their cheap tickets mean the planes are packed with white trash, browns and other scum.
I used to fly with them almost weekly because my job used them..
Last week I flew on an Embrarer with American Airlines, then on a Boeing with a Brazilian carrier.
Thought it was funny
Also tightened my seatbelt extra on the Boeing
when are they going to upgrade their fleet?
When you finally buy a perfume.
I own axe body spray, does that count?
They've started ordering Max 10s to replace their 37-8s.
Ryanair has never crashed
europe isnt a country muttbro
there is no such thing as european anything, its a geographic term not a term for a category of people or things
Please buy Embraer products
tell them to make wide body planes already.
Also, will WEG or some other Brazilian company ever make plane engines?
WEG has a partnership with Embraer going in that direction but it will probably take some time until it's economically viable

but R&D costs
>invest in high tech
never gonna happen

They had "studies" on making a widebody somewhere last year.

Their CEO said long ago, plus now they're focusing on prop-hybrids.
FRICKING BASED I LOVE PROP-HYBRIDS
BUT-TRIBRID CUÇKOLDS ON SUICIDE WATCH!!!!
They've found their niche, I doubt getting into wider planes would work for them.
Ryanair chads assemble

Because Ryanair Boeings were made before pajeet-coders.
NG 737s are pajeet planes.
test
every week the fennoswede gets a quirky new schizophrenic trait, so fun!
Because they are cheap motherfrickers.
Super cheap tickets
But it’s basically a flying packed bus.
I only fly Air France because my employer reimburses every economy ticket of theirs
Out of all possible conclusions after reading my post, the one you come up with is that I'm Indian??? How does that make any sense?
he's a regular here.
Hungarian C-390 flew for the first time yesterday.
if they so hungary then why don't they fly to mcdolan's hahah
Frick right off to the insomniac thread pajeet
Looks chubby
good plane, I'm glad they're finally getting orders.
Last time i flew was in a 737-300.
737NG series is completely fine, plus Ryanairs safety record is pretty much immaculate
Over 25% of their fleet is Max 8 and they have a few hundred Max 10 on the way to replace their NGs
I like Ryanair. With a limited traveling budget I prefer not spending as little as possible on the plane to the destination.
They will probably stick to 737s forever now that they can force Boeing into giving them discounts for the new flying coffins
